Female (Gynecologic) Surgery

The most common phrase I hear from female patients is "a female physician understands what's happening to me." Don't let anyone let you think that your symptoms are all in your head.

Most Common Complaints Related to the Female Organs:

• Abnormal bleeding whether bleeding in between periods, heavy periods with cramping, clotting, etc.
• Pelvic pain
• Something falling out of the vagina

These may be a sign of:

• Uterine enlargement
• Uterine fibroids
• Adenomyosis
• Uterine polyps
• Thickened lining of the uterus
• Ovarian cysts/tumors
• Endometriosis
• Pelvic relaxation syndrome (cystocoele, rectocoele, etc.)

Solutions:

Most pelvic surgery can be performed as an outpatient with the laparoscope i.e. utilizing small holes through the belly. However, our philosophy is to listen to you, intergrate your problems, discuss a strategy to solve these problems utilizing modern technology. The solution to your problems is individualized and may not be the same as your neighbor's.
